A Sunday Morning Surprise

Client: Global Food Product Manufacturer
Improperly Closed Valve Causes Spill
ERC Midwest Expedites the Needed Response

The call came in the early hours of a September Sunday.  On the line was the EHS Coordinator for a local facility owned by a Global Food Product Manufacturer. He was in a panic because an improperly closed valve had caused a major wastewater spill that had flowed into a culvert on the south side of the plant. He needed us to respond in a hurry. Like, right now.

Normally things move slowly at 4:30 on a Sunday morning. Not with ERC Midwest. In no time, our team was collaborating on a solution, activating our ‘on call’ folks and on our way with a HiVac Truck to clean up the mess. Although the client’s facility was over an hour away, our team was on site by 7:30 and had the spill cleaned up and the problem resolved by 9 a.m.

Another complex waste problem solved.  Happy Client!
